Bateleur offers charter cruises on the Lake
from one night to ten nights in duration.
She sleeps 14 passengers and has 4 crew
members. On the lower deck are 3
cabins (one with double bed and en-suite
bathroom) accommodating 6 passengers, 2
public toilets/showers, a lounge, a fully
equipped kitchen with gas cooker, deep
freezers and 220 volt electricity on-board.
There is also a large pool/sun deck with a
fully operational Jacuzzi to cool off from
the heat of the day. On the upper deck
is the Captain’s bar and a large comfortable
lounge area. Day seating on the upper
deck converts to sleeping accommodation at
night (sleeping an additional 8 passengers),
each bed is fully mosquito proofed with
large walk-in type mosquito nets. Two
tender boats are normally towed behind the
houseboat for fishing and/or sightseeing.
Tariffs are structured depending on the
nature and length of the charter but
normally include a basic rate for the
houseboat with catering quoted separately.
