TRACK AND TRAIL RIVER CAMP
An intimate safari lodge, ideally located on the banks of the Luangwa river, with easy, year-round access. Only 5 minutes from the main entrance of the South Luangwa National Park, offering visitors a “Simply Safari Escape”. Facilities and most accommodation options are scattered along the river frontage.
Accommodation varies from double and single storey chalets to more secluded chalets on elevated platforms.
Track & Trail River Camp’s down to earth feel is reflected in its relaxing atmosphere and modern design with an African touch. The Lime tree lounge, bar and dining area offer stunning views over the Luangwa River while at night the cozy fireplace invites for stargazing.
At the centrally located elevated swimming pool, you can keep an eye on the hippo’s in the river and crocodiles that lounge in the sun.
For a sense of well-being, there is an open-air gym and a spa offering various treatments to relax body and mind.

Track and Trail River Camp is an owner-run lodge that specializes in photographic safaris. Safari activities range from the morning, night, all day, special interest, walking safaris and photographic workshops for a safari experience exactly what you would want it t be: relaxing, informative, exciting and personal.
Track and Trail River Camp’s 4 double-storey chalets feature high ceilings, en-suite bathrooms, tea & coffee making facilities and electric fans. Enjoy the view over the river from your private balcony while listening to the sounds of the African bush.
ACCOMMODATION
The 5 single-storey chalets offer traditional style with modern comfort, each with their own en-suite bathroom. Three chalets are on the riverbank and two chalets on elevated platforms are more secluded and perfect for a romantic getaway.
Our campsite welcomes adventurous travellers to pitch their tent and experience the true African wilderness. Each site has BBQ facilities, cold running water, a light for when the night falls and electrical power point.
